On my morning walks, sometimes I go left, sometimes I go right. I just sort of ask, “Which way should I go today?” On these paths, whether I go right or left, I usually see a nail or screw or bolt or something that I pick up. Not always, but often. People sometimes ask, “Do you think someone goes ahead of you and puts these things there for you to find?” Maybe so, who knows? In any case, I do think of that verse, my walking verse: “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) I drew from that verse for this piece.
